I hate to sound paranoid here, but consider this:

Video from Fox News shows a large concentration of Hacidic Jewish population among the onlookers in the Rockaway Beach area.

We already know that the FBI has reported to the White House that an explosion took place on board.

A flight to Santo Domingo doesn't exactly pop up as a target... until you take into account the path of takeoff... then it becomes one of many potential "bombs" that can be dropped upon a heavily concentrated Jewish population.

Just one more thing to think about.

Hawk - for terrorists to plan this would be hard as shit to do. However, as far as what runway the plane takes off from, it depends on which direction the wind blows. So as far as them knowing that this plane would take off from this direction on this day to nail a certain type of folk - it would be fairly unlikely. NOT impossible, but fairly doubtful.

An engine like that is pumping out about 30,000 Horsepower. That's a whole lotta power and shit going on. Lot's of things can happen when that much activity is going on under the cowl.
